Human Trafficking is an organized criminal industry that affects every nation. Whilst the statistics can seem overwhelming, it is important to remember that every number represents the life of a victim. The I AM organization has recognized this significant need and is partnered with various field teams across the world. I Am is continually committed to combating this injustice through raising awareness and provision for rescue and rehabilitation efforts with partner organizations.
LIFE FOR A SEX TRAFFICKING VICTIM
After a trafficking journey that typically involves deception, rape, beatings, and constant threats, victims are often forced to live in confining and unsanitary conditions. Once formally put to work, human trafficking victims can be forced to service from 40 to 110 customers in one day. Malnutrition, sleep deprivation, as well as emotional and physical abuse become day-to-day normalities. In addition, forced abortions and the contraction of STI's, Hepatitis B & C, and AIDS are ever looming probabilities. Life for a victim of sex trafficking is hell on earth. This injustice is the reason I Am was created.

Melodye Munseylives and works in the Northwest Indiana & Chicagoland region with her husband, Steve. She is known to be a forward-thinking entrepreneur with an appreciation for what has been on the market in the past and eyes that deem the impossible an approaching reality. An enthusiast of modern discoveries in the area of anti-aging products and cutting-edge, high-end luxury ingredients, she is the designer, developer, and force behindI AM™, a line of beauty products introduced in 2010
Underlying her every effort is her love for people, culture, and business. Melodye is the founder of Lady Love Campaign, giving voice to her strong passion for eradicating human trafficking in every place it exists—local, national, international. To that end she continually enlists the aid of law enforcement, politicians, churches, and everyday ordinary people to push the subject of human trafficking into the limelight.
A celebrator of the arts, Melodye founded Refuge Productions, Inc. more than thirty years ago to give place for the performing community in the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland region. Refuge Productions has been home to many mega-productions as well as an annual Fine Arts Summer Workshop which draws young people from across the country as well as locally.
Her fervor for excellence, her flair for fashion, and her innate creativity cause Melodye to be a leading lady in her community, serving on several boards and participating in city-wide betterment projects.
